Deep Blue Deco Bowl

This geometric design is accomplished using two layers of resist - tape resist before the base cobalt blue glaze layer, and a second tape resist on the cobalt blue before a grey-blue glaze layer. (The second tape layer is really fiddly). I like the Art Deco feel to the design, because it can be difficult adding an angular Deco design to an intrinsically round thrown pottery form.
